Mike Maffin updated the board on the state’s Legacy Fund meeting in Spirit Lake. Mike agreed to draft a letter that could be posted on EOLIC website encouraging people to contact their legislators to support funding for this piece of legislature.

Jim Sholly explained to the board that he is holding a meeting with the DNR Restoration Committee to adopt a “how to” manual for shoreline restoration. The manual will include tools for agencies working on public lands and tools for individual home owners.
