Mission

Our mission is to protect, enhance and beautify the water of the East Okoboji, Upper Gar, Minnewashta, and Lower Gar Lakes through promotion of watershed stewardship and education.

Happening Now.

For those of you who may not have seen the KTIV clip on the Isthmus area shoreline restoration project … here it is … Ellen Eide is the reporter for KTIV … Mike Hawkins (Iowa DNR) explains some of the project. SLPA and EOLIC (East Okoboji Lakes Improvement Corporation) will be working on fund raising to help support the native tree replacement.
